Why Legislators Should Object On January 6

I would like, as a Constituent, and a member of the government of “We the People” to explain why US Senators and Representatives need to object on January 6.
It is for the sake of a document called the US Constitution. This document is meant to be followed, closely, specifically, in every legal proceeding and election in our country.
The allegations of fraud are substantial and utterly frightening to a free country. But more appalling is the disregard for the Constitution in seven battleground states. These states violated their state constitutions in the election and therefore violated the US Constitution’s laws regarding federal elections.
This document is what every senator, representative, president, service-member, and immigrant swears to defend, uphold, and protect.
It is our responsibility to hold our representatives to their oath. Very simply, we are coming to Washington, DC to defend the US Constitution.
As a third generation American and a descendant of many Armed Service members, I am coming to the US Capitol for them.
We are coming to Washington DC to defend each and every immigrant who came here for a better life for their children and swore to uphold the Constitution. We are coming for each and every service-member who gave life and limb for the defense of this document.
It is to us – today – to stand for the document that has guaranteed our freedom for the last 232 years, and will guarantee freedom for our children.
